Position Summary

This role will see you performing a variety of bookkeeping responsibilities including, bookkeeping duties, reviewing, organising and processing information using client source data.

Key Responsibilities:

• Processing transactions and allocating to the relevant accounts;
• Processing client payrolls;
• Prepare ATO Business Activity Statements;
• Prepare reconciliations of bank accounts, accounts receivable, accounts payable;
• Assisting with set-up of accounting programs;
• Assist with client relationship management; and
• Handle general client bookkeeping queries

Demonstrated Experience & Attributes

  Essential

• 12 months relevant experience;
• Relevant qualifications or the willingness to undertake studies;
• Xero and MYOB experience preferred;
• Payroll experience;
• Basic GST knowledge;
• Ability to identify & communicate process improvements;
• Strong organisational skills;
• Excellent customer service skills; and
• Self motivated (ability to work independently).
