Business Advisory is a specialist division within RSM Australia, providing business and tax advisory services to private enterprises and iconic high wealth family groups.

About the role

As an Accountant or Intermediate Accountant you will be part of a team responsible for a portfolio of clients as you assist with:

• Preparation of financial statements and tax returns for trusts, individuals, companies and partnerships
• Preparation of ATO and client correspondence
• Assisting on advisory engagements
• Providing strategic outsourcing solutions to clients
• Digital solutions for emerging businesses
• Providing exceptional client service

What we are looking for

We are looking for someone with:

• Prior experience in an accounting services firm preparing activity statements, financial statements and tax returns
• Solid foundation of technical skills in taxation and accounting
• Familiarity with one or more accounting software systems, such as Xero or MYOB
• A passion for working with private businesses and families
• A growth mindset ready to learn from your fellow team members and our best in class training and development programs
• An interest to further your career by completing the CA program with study support.
• Excellent written and communication skills

Education requirements

• Business / Commerce degree with Accounting Major
• Commenced or ready to commence CA or equivalent
