The Manager of Talent Acquisition oversees the creation and execution of strategies to attract top talent. This role focuses on enhancing employer branding, building a proactive talent pipeline, and implementing innovative sourcing methods. It also emphasizes inclusive hiring practices and leadership in recruiting for professional and early career positions.

The position will lead the Talent Acquisition team, manage metrics, and ensure alignment with organisational objectives.

This role is pivotal in shaping our workforce capabilities to drive our business forward and maintain a competitive edge in the market.

Proactive Talent Planning

  • Collaborate closely with Partners and P&C Rep’s to understand and align business strategies and workforce planning.
  • Collaborate with P&C Reps to align talent strategies including attrition trends, business needs and retention.
  • Collaborate with P&C Reps, Organisational Development and Learning & Development to identify skill gaps and agree Buy, Build, Bridge strategy.
  • Collaborate with P&C Rep’s, Organisational Development and P&C Operations team on EVP, preboarding and onboarding experience.

 

Innovative Sourcing Strategies

  • Develop and implement talent acquisition strategies to attract top talent efficiently and reduce time and cost to fill critical positions.
  • Utilise AI, market intelligence, and competitive analysis to enhance sourcing strategies and stay ahead of industry trends.
  • Ensure the team works collaboratively with Marketing to design and deliver targeted recruitment marketing campaigns to attract candidates and build employer brand awareness.
  • Accountable for Early Career Program to attract and develop emerging talent, fostering a pipeline of future leaders. Includes managing all recruitment process activities, leading strategy and interactions with student bodies and careers fairs and collaborating with Learning & Development on onboarding, orientation and development programs.
  • Build partnerships with external educational institutions, industry associations, and talent networks to enhance our talent pipeline and employer brand.
  • Create, implement and manage a preferred supplier agreement for all hires across the business (including temp/casual, permanent and fixed term agreements)

 

Global & Domestic Mobility Initiatives

  • Collaborate with Partners and to understand their needs for both global and domestic mobility programs, facilitating the movement of talent across regions and functions to meet business needs. Ensure that alignment exists between TA team and P&C Talent Specialist to enhance communication and processes.
  • Collaborate with P&C Rep’s to develop mobility policies and guidelines to facilitate talent movement across regions and functions.
  • Accountable for ensuring all offshoring recruitment activities are undertaken in line with agreed SLA’s.

 

Business & Team Management

  • Establish metrics and KPIs to measure the effectiveness of Talent Acquisition initiatives, regularly reporting on progress and outcomes to senior leadership.
  • Lead and manage direct and indirect reports to deliver on KPI’s and ensure a consistent national recruitment process and value add service to all clients across lateral hires, early careers and global secondment programs.
  • Stay abreast of emerging trends and best practices in talent management, continuously seeking opportunities to innovate and improve our processes.
  • Drive Talent Acquisition brand and stakeholder engagement.
  • Accountable for the management of external providers, suppliers and stakeholders.

DEMONSTRATED EXPERIENCE & ATTRIBUTES:

Essential

  • Experience leading Talent Acquisition function, including Early Career Programs with a focus on strategic planning and leadership.
  • Proven track record of developing and implementing innovative talent acquisition strategies in a dynamic environment.
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to leverage data and insights to drive decision-making and measure the impact of talent initiatives.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
  • Demonstrated leadership and team management abilities, with a passion for coaching and developing talent.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in budget management and resource allocation.
  • Experience managing external providers to deliver outcomes.

 

Desirable

  • Experience with AI-driven sourcing tools, market intelligence, and talent analytics platforms is preferred.
  • Knowledge of global mobility programs and practices.
  • Professional Services / Consulting Firm experience.
