Position Summary

This position is focused on International Tax advisory, including in relation to the hybrid mismatch rules, double tax treaties, multi-lateral instrument and international tax provisions generally.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Analyse the law and draft client advice in relation to international tax issues
• Author thought leadership articles for publication
• Assist with business development initiatives
• Liaise with clients and develop client relationships
• Assist with practice management
• Apply emerging technologies such as Alteryx and Artificial Intelligence

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:

Essential

• Business / Commerce / Finance / Law degree with strong grades

Desirable

• Ideally have commenced CA or Masters of Tax (or are considering doing so)

DEMONSTRATED EXPERIENCE & ATTRIBUTES:

Essential

• 2 to 4 years in an international tax / corporate tax role in a professional services environment
• High performance ratings
• Strong written communication skills. Good verbal communication skills
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
