Position Summary

As an Analyst at RSM within our Restructuring and Recovery division you will work across a broad range of restructuring, insolvency and turnaround engagements that includes personal and corporate insolvencies. In this role you will be expected to assist in the day to day administration fieldwork and restructuring tasks under supervision of more senior staff while you work towards further qualifications including CA or ARITA.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Oversee the preparation of receipt authority, payment authority and day one investigation letters and statutory forms
  • Conducting investigations on assigned engagements
  • Assist with trade on of a business
  • Stock take of company goods
  • Preparation of reports to ASIC
  • Assist with preparation of letters of demand
  • Prepare reports to creditors and other stakeholders with statutory information
  • Draft correspondence and act as main point of contact for correspondence to creditors, employees directors and other stake holders on engagements
  • Assist in realising asses of the company or individual
  • Analysis of company financials

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:

Essential

  • Business / Commerce degree with Accounting Major
  • Law degree with interest in Insolvency

Desirable

  • Commencement of CA or equivalent

DEMONSTRATED EXPERIENCE & ATTRIBUTES:

Essential

  • 1-2 years in a similar role
  • Strong Communication Skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team

Desirable

  • Strong analytical skills
