Position Summary

Conducts small assignments, assists in planning and control of medium to larger assignments and supervises junior staff.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead Advisory – end to end M&A and lead IPO execution (including target list, databook and information memorandum preparation, financial due diligence and data room management, participate in transaction negotiations and stakeholder management);
  • Work across sell-side, buy-side, capital raising and strategic advice;
  • Management of project deliverables and adherence to transaction timeframes;
  • Manage, develop and work collaboratively with junior members of the team;
  • Build and manage client and stakeholder relationships;
  • Assist with deal origination and the preparation of proposals, engagements and pitch documents; and
  • Financial modelling and forecasting

Requirements:

  • A degree in Business / Commerce / Law or Economics (CA / CFA favourable)
  • 3-5 years’ experience in M&A within a top-tier / mid-tier accounting firm, investment bank or boutique advisory firm
  • Experience in preparing information memoranda, databooks, proposals and other marketing documents
  • Experience in managing multiple M&A projects from end to end
  • Strong analytical and critical evaluation skills
  • Ability to meet and work towards deadlines
  • Strong communication and report writing skills
  • Attention to detail and commercially insightful
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
  • Demonstrated experience leading a team
  • Strong ethical standards
